Mavera History:

Mavera is a historical and religious Turkish television series signed by ES Film, the first episode of which was broadcast on April 12, 2021, telling the life and experiences of Ahmed Yesevi. In the lead roles of the TV series broadcast on TRT 1, there are actors such as Korel Algerian, Görkem Sevindik, Tansel Ongel, Hasan Kucukcetin, Sinan Tuzcu, Recep Usta and Zara. The series was planned and shot in 26 episodes.

 

The shooting of the series was carried out in Konya in the summer of 2020 and it is aimed to be broadcast in Ramadan in 2021. Mavera, a mini-series special for the month of Ramadan, directed by Doğan Ümit Karaca, ended with its 26th episode on the night of May 7, 2021.

The series tells the life of the first alperen in history and one of them, Hâce Ahmed Yesevi. In the series, Hâce Ahmed Yesevi and three dervishes from Turkistan are sent to Baghdad, one of the brightest cities of the time, by their pir, Yusuf Hamadani. Ahmed Yesevi, who was sent to the Baghdad campus by Yusuf Hemedani, is fighting an intense struggle here.

According to the Turkish Language Association, the meaning of the word Mavera is as follows: A place, time, beyond, behind, behind something.
